Early Pregnancy Education - Information
for couples in their 1st and 2nd trimester
This 2-hour workshop focuses on pregnancy emotions for moms and
dads, couvade syndrome, easing discomfort in pregnancy, how to create
baby’s best first environment and the #1 reason for low birth
weight babies. You will also explore questions such as What is your
birth philosophy? What are your options for caregivers and birth
place? Which one is right for you? and What is a doula?
That Fun Childbirth Class - Child Birth Education

This class has high focus on both expectant Moms and Dads. The birth
of your child can be a very exciting time in your life. That Fun
Childbirth Class is a celebration of this time while facilitating
your journey of learning and exploration. Unearth why we make the
choices we make in all stages of life and how to diminish fear and
experience God's joy in childbirth. Learn about the "fear-tension-pain"
aspect of birth, late pregnancy nutrition and exercise, mechanics
of birth & pregnant feelings, stages of labor, choices in childbirth,
holistic solutions to labor challenges, comfort measures and coaching,
newborn procedures, postpartum care and breastfeeding. Available
in different formats to meet expectant parents scheduling needs.

Sprouts! - Sibling Birth Preparation
This is a two hour class for children ages 3-9. The class is geared toward the young expectant brother or sister.
Birth is presented as normal part of life in terms a child can understand.
The class covers changes of a growing family and appropriate interaction with the new baby.
Sprouts will participate in drawing, doll play, videos and stories.
Information is presented to the parents on how to prepare and tips for the adjustment period with the older child.
The last part of the class is labor and birth education for children whose parents are including them in the birth.
The Outer Womb
It has been said that because human babies continue to develop at
such a rapid rate once they’re born, they really should be
considered in "The Outer Womb" for the first year of life.
Participants will learn tips about breastfeeding, baby wearing,
SIDS awareness, sleep patterns, why babies cry and how to create
the best support network for baby's first days.
Breastfeeding Basics
Did you know that breastfeeding could increase IQ and decrease infections,
allergies, asthma and obesity in children? The key to breastfeeding
is patience and LOTS of support and encouragement. This 3-hour workshop
will equip moms and dads with the practical knowledge and confidence
to begin the beautiful breastfeeding relationship with their child
and learn about healthy alternatives if breastfeeding isn’t
possible. In addition, one-on-one support is also available from
the facilitator as needed.
Womb Mates — Just for Dads!
A 2-hour workshop where expectant Dads will have the opportunity
to interact with Experienced Dads. Panel discussion and Q&A
of what to expect in pregnancy, childbirth, marriage and parenting.
A safe place to ask the tough questions and get honest answers and
feedback!
