Geri Middleton-Walsh
Geri has worked in healthcare serving the underserved of Denver and Aurora for the past 10 years in Denver and Aurora.
Her focus has always been women's health and she has enjoyed promoting the empowerment of women to make educated healthy
decisions during their childbearing years as a case manager, educator, nurse, manager and currently as a nurse midwife.
She received her Master's and Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Colorado and her undergraduate degree from the
University of California at San Diego. She and her husband recently had their first child, Henry, and experienced the support of Xylem firsthand
through childbirth education and doula services. As a result, she is honored to now serve on the Xylem board and help further its' mission and vision.

Karen Stickland
Karen is currently employed as the Colorado Audit Manager for a national
contract auditing firm that works with local governments. She received
her B.S.B.A. Finance from Regis University and is currently studying
at Denver Seminary to receive a Graduate Certificate in Christian
Studies. Karen is a single parent and has a passion for bringing resources
and encouragement to the single parent households in the Denver area.
She has facilitated budgeting and single parenting workshops at Crossroads
Church of Denver, Champa House–Denver Rescue Mission, Pathways
Church, and is currently facilitating the Single
Parenting that Works workshop for Xylem Family Resources.
She has also spent time volunteering with the Victim Assistance Program
for the Lakewood Police Department. Karen has one son, a daughter-in-law,
and two grandsons that live in southwest Littleton. She lives in Lakewood
with her two Golden Retrievers and two cats. |
ADVISORY BOARD
Jeff Wright
Jeff is an independent consultant/contractor and freelance copywriter
helping small businesses and non-profits with their marketing efforts
and client communication strategies. In addition, he is on staff with
City Presbyterian Church in downtown Denver as the Sexton, overseeing
the volunteers and details of the Sunday worship services. Previously
Jeff managed fine dining restaurants and was a travel consultant for
an ecotourism/adventure travel company that specialized in South America.
Jeff, his wife and two children live in northwest Denver. |
